Island Health Care
A Federally Qualified Community Health Center serving the island of Martha's Vineyard
At Island Health Care, our mission is to ensure all islanders and visitors, regardless of income or insurance status, have access to high-quality health care. We are proud to be part of a national system of health centers with common patient-centered standards, goals, and performance requirements. Our clinicians—nurse practitioners, nurses, psychiatrists, and collaborating physicians—are here when you need them, ready to provide the care you deserve.
On December 27, 2018, the Island Health Care leadership team received formal notification of a three-year award totaling $3,407,802 in renewed federal funding to support the continued delivery of integrated primary and behavioral health care services to residents of Dukes County through January 31, 2022.
